White Andalusian Villages

West of Málaga  is the most popular part of the Costa del Sol, which attracts mass of tourism to the crowded and lively resorts of Marbella  Fuengirola etc. But this long ribbon of holiday development, backed by wonderful mountain scenery, has lots more to offer. There are many of remote cliff top white villages and towns scattered across the peaks and valley inland from the coast.

 All those lovely villages are part of the Moorish heritage of Andalusia. They are built in the pure Moorish style and must be explore by foot. Most part of its narrow streets do not easily accommodate pedestrians and cars simultaneously!

 You will certainly enjoy a stroll in the narrow cobbled streets and white houses. Brilliantly coloured flowers adorn small squares and beautiful ornate patios can be seen trough doorways.

Generally the view from those villages to the coast is fantastic.
