Puerto Banus:

The dazzling marina of Puerto Banus, with its luxurious yachts and sophisticated restaurants and bars, serves as a magnet for visitors to the Costa del Sol.

A stay on the coast would be incomplete without a visit to Puerto Banús. This attractive place is officially part of San pedro de Alcántara and is usually listed under Nueva Andalucia. This luxurious port is built as a white village- type harbour. Backed by the mountains this luxury marina is filled with 900 most expensive and modern yachts and sailing boats of Europe.

This is a paradise for rich and famous people where they can make their shopping in the most exclusive haute couture designer boutiques. Around the marina Gianfranco Ferrer, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci,Versace, Bulgari etc storefronts and parked on the quay the most luxury cars concentration as Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin etc Puerto Banus is thronged with people who come to see, or been seen.

The celebrity favourite haunts are the Saladuba Pub and the Sinatra café. Don’t forget your camera, perhaps you'll bump into Melanie & Antonio or Brad & Angelina!!!!!!!

While around the port is a string of cafés, bars and restaurants, better value is found in the street behind or around the Antonio Banderas Square.

The Cortes Ingles Shopping center, the Cristamar or the Banus shopping center are more affordable.

The sandy beaches of Puerto banus :

“Rio verde” or “El duque” Beaches, on the west part of the port, are famous for their luxury Beach club : “The Buddha beach” and the “Ocean Club” both offering restaurant, cocktail bar and pool area on the Beach. Those beaches are offering as well a wide range of nautics sports.

Close to the Cristamar shopping center the other Beach of Puerto Banus is a large cove with a beautiful seafront promenade offers a high level of quality restaurants

The Nights of Puerto Banus

Puerto Banus at night is the busiest place to go out for a drink, dining or clubbing. In this small area you will find the highest concentration of piano bars, pubs and clubs of the Costa del Sol. The News Café situated on the first line of the Marina offers on the first floor a busy club.

“The Tibu” on the Antonio banderas square, is by far the most exciting nightspot to go clubbing, or dinning at “the Bubbles” restaurant on the fantastic rooftop terrace.

A truly sophisticated place for all the beautiful people. The place to be and be seen surrounded by a stunning décor worthy of the thousand and One nights.

Where to eat?Around the Marina you will find all kind of restaurants providing international food from Italy to anywhere else in the world. However my favorite places are around the Shopping center of Marina Banus.
